WA: Last of Bali bombing victims to be brought home

PERTH, Dec 13 AAP - The last of the Australian Bali bombing victims to be identifiedwill be farewelled at a picturesque bush cemetery next week.

Nicole Maree Harrison, 29, from Mandurah, south of Perth, was killed instantly in theterrorist explosions that wreaked havoc on the island two months ago.

DNA tests, carried out earlier this week in Indonesia, confirmed Ms Harrison was dead.

The 29-year-old had been partying with her brother Lee in the Sari Club when the bomb exploded.

Lee survived the attack after momentarily leaving his sister's side.

A moving tribute to Nicole was today published in the West Australian newspaper.

"Nicole, you are our precious gem, one of a kind, with a heart of gold," it reads.

"Your life was taken so suddenly, it's like a bad dream.

"You lived your life doing what you loved, planning holidays and travelling and beingthe best Aunty in the world to your three nieces."

Nicole's body is due to be returned home over the weekend, and she will be farewelledat the Lakes Memorial Park cemetery in Mandurah.

The WA government announced yesterday a permanent memorial to the 15 WA Bali bombingvictims would be erected in Perth's picturesque war memorial park before the first anniversaryof the tragedy.
